Ginache Martinez
A Martinez is widely regarded as the drink that became the martini. Originally based on Genever, the Martinez is aromatic, complex and very dry.
We've taken our own twist on the drink with a sweeter version to include our Ginache. The twist on a classic Martinez is built using the classic recipe that utilised curacao.
Preceding the martini, a Martinez was originally created in the 1860s, the first recipe of which appeared in OH Byron's The Modern Bartender. In the original writing, Byron mentioned the Martinez was "Same as a Manhattan, only you substitute gin for whisky."
Our Ginache Martinez is a slightly sweeter twist on the incredibly delicious drink. For an extra cold serve, chuck your bottle of Ginache in the freezer for half an hour before serving.
